All preparations have fallen in place and the coach's have revealed their starting line-up for the all New Zealand derby in the first Super 14 semi-finals with a place in the finals at stake.
Two of the best attacking teams in 2009 will battle it out as the Chiefs will host the boys from the capital Wellington in Hamilton tonight.
The war of words between the two camps will come to an end as both teams have done their homework working out strategies to win the game.
Hurricanes outstanding fullback Cory Jane said that the Canes will be out to avenge their early loss to the Chiefs tonight in the most important match of the season.
The former New Zealand 7's star believes that defence will be the key to determine the winner.
Chiefs coach Ian Foster believes that while they will miss the services of halfback Brendan Leonard, Ben May and Richard Kahui it will not stop them from creating history by reaching their first ever final.
The Chiefs takes on the Hurricanes tonight at 7.35pm.
