A youth charged with act with intent to cause grievous bodily harm is expected to appear in the Labasa Court tomorrow
Deputy Director Police Operations SSP Erami Raibe confirmed that the charges have been laid on the youth who surrendered himself to the police after he allegedly knifed a 47 year old bus owner.
SSP Raibe said the incident occurred yesterday morning after a dispute.
It is alleged the youth was assaulted by the 47 year old after which the youth knifed him which resulted in the 47 year old getting seriously injured on his leg, head, chest and back.
The incident happened at Coqeloa, Labasa.
The 47 year old man is currently admitted at the Labasa Hospital.
