The Indian Government is ready to assist the Fiji government in any way to hold elections in the country.
After the flag raising ceremony marking its 63rd Independence Day celebrations at the Indian High Commission in Princess Road this morning, High Commissioner, Professor Prabhakar Jha told Fijivillage News, that assistance to the sugar industry, medical and in education sector continues, as they are independent.
He said people should not say they a supporting a military government as they truly are supporting the Fiji people.
Jha adds government has asked for some more assistance for Sugar Industry.
A number of people took part in the flag raising ceremony this morning.
