A way to stop violence against women and discrimination is to empower women financially and this will be part of the national "16 Days of Activism".
The 16 Days of Activism is where non government organisations observe events like the International Day against violence against women and even World AIDS day.
This year, the Ministry of Women has joined in the 16 Days of Activism with spokesperson Anshoo Mala saying that they have invited women from around the country to come forward and show the money making initiatives they have in place.
The 16 days of Activism with the theme "Reparation, Healing and Reconciliation" will start this Thursday the 25th of November until the 10th of next month.
