Two Police officers of Cakaudrove have been suspended pending investigations for allegedly assaulting seven Primary School students last week.
Police Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said it is alleged that the two assaulted them with a stick in front of other students.
Inspector Sokomuri revealed that a report was lodged and the Commissioner of Police ordered that the two be suspended and a thorough investigation be carried out.
He said the Commissioner has also put other Police Officers on notice.
