Digicel Fiji has started a new service from today under which its customers will also be able to make their repayments to the Housing Authority using their Digicel Mobile Money ewallets.
Digicel Fiji has partnered with the Housing Authority of Fiji and the service is being offered free of charge by Housing Authority to its customer base who will now be able to pay their loan repayments 24/7 without having to travel to Housing Authority branches.
Chief Executive Officer of Digicel Fiji David Butler said that Digicel Mobile Money is already making life easier for thousands of Fijians by providing a fast and convenient method to transfer money, self top up and make bill payments through their mobile handsets.
He said to add the ability to repay Housing Authority loans to the growing number of bill payment options will be hugely beneficial to Digicel customers with Housing Authority loans and will save them money and time as they will no longer have to travel to make their repayments.
