People of the island of Oneata in Lau have raised their disappointments to the Prime Minister that they have been robbed of their fishing ground or Qoliqoli.

Tui Oneata had raised this to Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama at Waiqori village after he visited them yesterday.

Tui Onetata who says the fishing ground named the bukatanoa which is on the reef in One-ata belongs to them

He understands that back in 1979 the Late Ratu Sir Kamisese Mara who knew clearly well how financially viable the fishing ground is, had sent two reps to verbally inform them how he could create a business venture from selling the sea delicacies that was offered from the fishing ground.
