An appeal against the prison sentence for former Post Fiji Chairman Mahendra Patel and former Managing Director Peni Mau was heard before Appeals Judge Justice William Marshall today.
The court heard that more submissions are to be filed by the two parties before a decision is made at the end of next month.
Patel is currently facing a 12 month sentence and Mau is facing 9 months after they were found guilty for the offence of abuse of office.
A hearing on the appeals sentence will take place on the 30th of August.
