The Christmas Cake Competition organized by our sister station Radio Sargam saw a great response as participants from as far as Ba took part.
There were 13 colorful cakes that made the finals with the theme of Christmas season being judged today on the appearance, taste and originality by nutritionists.
The winner of the cake competition Ramesh Sharma of Caubati who baked an Apricot Honey cake said it is his childhood hobby to bake and he is thankful for this competition that helped him build up his hobby.
Meanwhile the 2nd prize was won by Sumitra of Narere and 3rd prize was given to Swaran Lata of Ba who could not make it but the cake was bought from Ba by her son who lives in Suva.
