Rescue officials have called off the search tonight for a family of four who are stuck inside their home following a landslide in Tukaraki village, Yakete, Ba.

Police spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri said authorities will continue the search for the two children, and two adults when its daylight.

He added police are monitoring the movement of people in Ba and Nadi Towns and that people will only be allowed freedom of movement for genuine work reasons.

The public are being reminded that a curfew is in place for Nadi and Ba and that people who do not obey lawful orders given by Police or DISMAC will be taken to task.
