“We will support the Police Force in maintaining law and order within the province.”
These are the comments of the Chairman of the Ba Provincial Council, Ratu Meli Saukuru after a presentation from the Police Commander Western, SSP Salacieli Naivilawasa.
He spoke on the issue of reducing child and drug abuse within the province.
Saukuru said it is important for the chiefs of Ba to maintain a positive reputation and not to get involved in criminal activities.
He said people in the Ba province should also ensure that tourists are always protected while they spend their holidays in Fiji.
