A 36 year old woman charged with two counts of manslaughter following the death of twin toddlers in a drowning incident has been remanded at the Suva Women's Prison.
Lanieta Saladua Nairabo appeared before Magistrate Mohammed Ajmeer in the Nadi Magistrates Court this afternoon.
The woman will be in remand till next Wednesday.
The matter has also been transferred to the Lautoka High Court.
Meanwhile the twins aged 1 year and 11 months, who were the neighbours' children, drowned in a nearby pond when they allegedly wandered off, while left in the care of the accused.
