16 Queen contestants and 10 King contestants were blessed with a special prayer from Reverend Atunaisa Vulaono from the New Methodist Church at Albert Park today.
Marketing and Administration Officer of the Hibiscus Committee Puamau Bogiono said the 26 contestants were strengthened in their faith to help them achieve their aim during the weeklong event.
The contestants will be treated to lunch and attend an interdenominational service at 6 tonight.
In today’s programme, church services are being held, the Teens public judging will be held from 5pm and at 6.30pm is the Ladies talent show.
