Police Commissioner, Brigadier General Ioane Naivalurua is currently speaking to all the students of Marist Brothers High School following the recent incidents involving some students from the school.

The meeting is being attended by all the brothers of the school, teachers and the President of the Marist Old Boys.

Marist Principal, John Atalifo has said that he is not happy with what has transpired over the past few days.

Commissioner Naivalurua is expected to visit Suva Grammar School later this afternoon as he intends to speak to all the students and teachers there as some students from the school have also been involved in the recent incidents.

Meanwhile Police have identified a suspect who is alleged to have instigated the incidents where items were thrown into a school bus in Flagstaff yesterday afternoon.

Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro said they are trying to gather more information to try and bring the suspect in for questioning.

Two students were taken to hospital after they received injuries yesterday afternoon.

Fijivillage has received confirmation that metal pipes were also used to smash the rear glass of the bus.

More than 20 students on the roadside were taken in for questioning while the primary and secondary school students in the bus were also taken in for interviews.

This incident follows the school brawl at Service Street and Sukuna Park on Friday afternoon.

Police have called for good sense to prevail and all stakeholders to ensure that there are no incidents in the future.
