Three men are in police custody following the death of a 28-year-old labourer of Lakena Nausori over the weekend.

The victim was allegedly assaulted by the three in Nausori on Saturday night after a night out at a club.

The man was taken to the Nausori Health Centre before he was transferred to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital where he unfortunately succumbed to injuries sustained during the assault. 

Investigations continue.
