The Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources, Mereseini Vuniwaqa has challenged the National i-Taukei Resource Owners Committee to look beyond social issues which is being tossed to and fro in the political arena.
Vuniwaqa says they have been too inundated with social issues revolving around natural resources that people have failed to reap the benefits of what natural resources can provide to its owners and the nation.
Vuniwaqa told the committee how the constitution and government policies are there to protect natural resources for i-taukei resource owners.
