A Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority officer has been charged by FICAC for two counts of receiving a bribe.

It is alleged that between June 19th and August 4th this year, Maikeli Vuki asked for a benefit of $1,500 from a businessman without lawful authority and also obtained a sum of $500 from the same businessman in Sigatoka on the 8th of August.

Vuki was granted bail of $1,000 and has to surrender his passport and travelling documents to the Court.

The case will be re-called at the Sigatoka Magistrates Court on 29th of next month.
