Major Developments are underway for Nasinu as 8 acres of land are begin developed between Sharda Road and Qarase Road which will cost between $2.6 million to $2.8 million.

The Chief Executive Officer of Nasinu Land Purchase Unit Muni Deo says they are currently working on the Land for the New Laqere Market, Parking facilities, 17 commercial lots and an open space of 3,000 square meters.

Deo says at the moment they are facing some challenges with eight families residing illegally at the site but they hope to resettle them in the 10 acres of land which they provided to the government at the beginning of this year.

This land is located behind the development site. 

Nasinu Land Purchase Unit aims to complete the project by June next year.
