It has been eight days and police are still searching for 33-year-old Deshwar Kishore Dutt who escaped from Suva Court House last Thursday.
Police say a team has been assigned to search for Dutt.
Police Chief of Operations Rusiate Tudravu says they are currently trying to ascertain and verify information that they have received about those who maybe assisting Dutt.
Tudravu also says that they have no plans to set up checkpoints at this stage as they are currently monitoring the movement of some other suspects in other cases that are still on going.
