The Minister for Employment and Industrial Relations Jone Usamate says they have had positive response from the employers of Labasa.

Speaking to Fijivillage from Nadogo Central College in Labasa, Usamate says there were a number of queries from the employers with regards to the labour laws.

Usamate says most of the issues raised and clarified was about how the new minimum wage rate will be applied.

He says they have been compiling an ongoing data-base on issues that are coming up from different venues of consultations and are trying to address it there and then but if they cannot, then they will have to address it soon.
