Police are requesting information on Daniel Amitesh Chand who is wanted for questioning in relation to a case where he is alleged to have obtained up to $6,000 from an Australian citizen.
Police Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says that the case was reported in March last year when the victim came to Fiji after meeting the suspect online.
She says that it is alleged the victim had been sending up to $6,000 whereby an agreement was reached for the suspect to pay the victim back which to date he has failed to do.
Naisoro adds that the case of causing a loss was reported at the Sigatoka Police Station and the suspect is also wanted for questioning in other similar cases reported at the Nabua Police Station.
