Two people have been remanded in custody by the Nadi Magistrates Court for their alleged involvement in assisting escapee Deshwar Dutt.
44-year-old Abinesh Singh who is a businessman from Nadi has been charged with one count of Harboring a Prisoner at Large.
41-year-old Yogesh Prasad Sharma who is a Priest and a driver have been charged with one count of Harboring a Prisoner at Large and one count of giving false information to a public servant.
Police prosecutor Anil Prasad strongly to objected bail for both accused.
The defence lawyers have asked for the plea to be deferred.
The case has been adjourned to the 17th of this month for a mention.
