Daniel Amitesh Chand has been questioned and released as Police investigations continue.

Chand was wanted for questioning in relation to a case where he is alleged to have obtained up to $6,000 from an Australian citizen.

He had surrendered himself on Tuesday.

It is alleged the victim had been sending up to $6,000 whereby an agreement was reached for the suspect to pay the victim back which to date he has failed to do.
