Fiji Roads Authority has confirmed that the intersection of Princes Road and Edinburgh Drive will be closed this weekend.
The road will be closed from 7pm tomorrow till 10am Saturday.
This is to allow surfacing works to be carried out.
FRA says that due to the current roadworks, there is a difference in the existing road levels and the constructed road levels.
People travelling from Suva to Nausori or Princes Road to Suva using Edinburgh Drive are advised to use Reservoir Road and Ono Street as a detour.
FRA says that proper traffic management will be in place.
In the meantime, motorists are advised to drive with care at the intersection as there is a difference in the levels of the road.
