A 38-year-old woman is admitted in the Lautoka Hospital in critical condition after the husband allegedly stabbed her several times on the head.
The incident occurred after a heated argument with her husband in Tokovuci Settlement in Lautoka yesterday.
Police say a neighbor had heard the woman’s cries and came to help her when he saw the suspect allegedly fleeing the scene.
The woman was lying in a pool of blood in their kitchen.
Police say the suspect is yet to be arrested as investigations continue.
