The Fiji Airways Men's National 7s team can meet USA again in the quarterfinals of the Hamilton 7s this weekend.

With Australia in Pool A, Fiji will have to be at their best to beat the strong Australian side who demolished the South Africans to win the Sydney 7s.

Barring any upsets, the national side will likely meet USA, Kenya or Pacific rivals Samoa in the quarterfinals.

Some of the issues that have been picked up from our dismal performance in Sydney include lack of communication, no proper attacking structure, poor defence, poor decision making and a big number of penalties given because of high tackles.

Eroni Sau was yellow carded twice.

Meanwhile, the team arrived in New Zealand yesterday.

Fiji will take on Wales in their first game at 10.36am Saturday, they will then face Spain at 2.02pm before taking on Australia at 5.50pm Saturday.

The medal quarterfinals will start at 10.36am Sunday, the semifinal will be at 2.49pm while the final will start at 6.03pm Sunday.
