The owner of the house which was partly burnt on Vunivalu Road yesterday says the flat that was burnt was her only source of income.
Tawa Annie Lanyon says she is unemployed and will have to somehow gather funds to build the flat back to rent it out, but she says she does not know how she will manage it.
Tha National Fire Authority has confirmed they had received a report of a fire early yesterday morning.
One flat of the double storey house was completely destroyed in the fire while NFA was able to stop the fire from spreading to the other two flats.
The owner has confirmed that NFA is at the scene again today.
