The Leader of the National Federation Party Professor Biman Prasad says they stand against any acts and comments based on race and religion.

While responding to statements made by the Prime Minister and Attorney General at the temple in Nakasi, Professor Prasad says the government is mixing religion with politics and has described it as a despicable and shameful act.

He also says that the NFP condemned the acts of 1987 and 2000, and he also personally knows what happened in Dreketi during the 2000 coup as he comes from there.

When questioned on whether NFP is classifying different groups of people supporting FijiFirst, Professor Prasad says he has said it to Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum that they do not do that.

He says he told Sayed-Khaiyum that Prasad does not know what people are saying on the ground but the NFP leadership totally condemns anything of that nature.

The NFP Leader says these are just concoctions.

Professor Prasad says Sayed-Khaiyum also told him that he had the recordings however the NFP Leader maintains that no one from NFP is doing that.

Meanwhile, Fijivillage made several calls to SODELPA Leader Sitiveni Rabuka.

He is yet to answer his phone.
