The Ministry of Health will soon receive 30 new ambulances from the Chinese government which are yet to be cleared from the police.
Minister for Health Rosy Akbar says once the ambulances are cleared, the Ministry will decide where they will be stationed.

Meanwhile, Saint John’s Ambulance Manager Lloyd Ahteck says they have 2 ambulances that are servicing Fiji wide.
He says 2 other ambulances are in the garage.
The National Fire Authority has confirmed they have 9 ambulances out of which one is currently not in operation after an accident.
The NFA has one ambulance each in Nausori, Sigatoka, Ba, Labasa, Valelevu, Korovou, Korolevu and 2 ambulances in Suva.
The ambulance in Korovou is out of operation.
