A 23-year-old man convicted of rape will be sentenced tomorrow by the Lautoka High Court.

Aminio Sarogo raped a 28-year-old woman on 15th October 2014 in Sigatoka.

While delivering his judgement, Justice Aruna Aluthge said Sarogo pulled and forced the victim into a van after she had come out a nightclub and raped her inside the van.

He also said the victim struggled and screamed but no one came to her assistance.

Justice Aluthge agreed with the assessors' guilty opinion.
