The Sydney Roosters were clinical last night as they thrashed the Newcastle Knights 38-8 in the NRL competition.
Cooper Cronk won the points battle against the man he replaced in the Roosters, Mitchell Pearce.
Pearce had a fair game under the circumstances and set up his team's only try.
In another match, Gareth Widdop and Ben Hunt put a woeful Gold Coast Titans to the sword in a 54‑8 thumping.
After round 3 of NRL, the Dragons and Warriors are leading the points table with 6 points each and the only two teams that have not lost any game from round one.
The teams that are in second place with 4 points each include the Roosters, Melbourne Storm, Panthers, West Tigers, Broncos and Knights.
