Fiji born, Crusaders wing Seta Tamanivalu who suffered a minor groin twinge at training last Thursday has been listed among the five outside backs to travel with the Crusaders to South Africa and Argentina.
Ryan Crotty and Sam Whitelock have also been cleared to travel.
Crusaders coach Scott Robertson replaced midfielder Crotty and lock Whitelock in the dying stages of the Crusaders' 33‑14 bonus‑point win over the Bulls in Christchurch last Friday, but any fears the two All Blacks wouldn't be fit to travel offshore were diminished after they were named in the 27‑man squad to leave Christchurch this morning.
Robertson has named just one specialist openside flanker in Matt Todd for the short tour.
All Blacks Kieran Read, Owen Franks, Joe Moody, Israel Dagg and Richie Mo'unga are unavailable because of injury.
The Crusaders will meet the Lions at 12.30am next Monday.
In other matches, the Chiefs will face the Highlanders at 6.35pm Friday while the Rebels take on the Hurricanes at 8.45pm.
On Saturday, the Blues face the Sharks at 6.35pm while the Brumbies meet the Waratahs at 8.45pm and on Sunday, the Bulls take on the Stormers at 3.15am.
The Rebels are now leading the Super Rugby points table with 20 points, the Lions are second with 19 points, defending champions the Crusaders are third with 15 points while the Hurricanes are fourth with 14 points.
