A 28-year-old man has been ordered by the Suva High Court to attend counseling before he is sentenced in May.

Kitione Lui pleaded guilty in three separate cases of aggravated robbery and one case of attempted aggravated robbery before High Court Judge Justice Daniel Goundar today.

The offences were reported between the 27th to the 31st of December 2017.

In one case, Lui stole $900 worth of cigarettes, chewing gum and biscuits from the canteen in Muanikoso.

Justice Goundar has ordered that the accused be sent for pre-sentencing counseling with Empower Pacific which will compile a report.

The Judge said the accused has taken responsibility for his actions by pleading guilty but he must also attend counseling to change his behaviour.

The case will be called on the 9th of May for mitigation and sentencing.
