Three local runners will be competing in the Vodafone Lost Island Marathon Race next week.
They are Petero Manoa, Eroni Takape and Anna Cowley.
Manoa and Takape says they are excited to be part of the unique event.
The race will start from Yaqara, Rakiraki and ends in Tavuni Hill Fort near Sigatoka Sand Dunes.
The Vodafone Lost Island Ultra is being organised by Talanoa Treks in partnership with Get Lost Events, and supported by Vodafone, and the Tourism Fiji Event Development Fund, as well as numerous other partners and sponsors.
More than 40 international participants will be taking part in the cross-country marathon.
The Lost Island Ultra Marathon Race will start from the 3rd till the 8th of next week.
