All Blacks flanker Matt Todd will start for the Crusaders in tomorrow's Super Rugby clash against the Lions in Johannesburg.

Todd returns after missing last week's 33‑14 win over the Bulls in Christchurch with a rib injury, and is coach Scott Robertson's sole change to his forward pack for what will be a repeat of last year's Super Rugby final.

Bryn Hall will start at halfback with Mitch Drummond providing cover on the bench, while Seta Tamanivalu returns on the wing and Manasa Mataele moves to the reserves.

The Lions will host the Crusaders at 12.30am tomorrow.
