The Fiji Electricity Authority has restored electricity in over 50% households living in the Western Division that were affected by flooding last weekend.
The Rarawai Substation in Ba was inspected yesterday and the 33,000 volts transmission line from Vuda to Ba was checked before energizing.
About 40% of the customers in Ba are being supplied with power from the FEA grid.
Electricity supply in the Central Division has been fully restored.
The Authority is requesting members of the public to report any broken or low sagging power lines to the Authority on the emergency number 913.
