The Fiji Electricity Authority is continuously working to restore power supply for their customers in the Western Division that were affected by flooding during the Easter weekend.
Over 70% of the customers in Sigatoka, 60% in Nadi, 94% in Lautoka, 50% in Ba, 50% in Rakiraki and 10% customers in Tavua now have full access to electricity.
The Authority says their workers are continuously checking power lines before restoring services to ensure that there are no broken live wires.
FEA is also urging people to contact them if they see any broken power lines or low sagging power lines on their emergency line 913.
The Authority has not stated when supply would be fully restored, however their workers are working extended hours in order to restore services as soon as they can.
