Some residents of Ba town and Yalalevu have received aid by a faith-based charity organisation.
The Vishva Hindu Parishad Fiji organisation started distributing cooked food in Ba on the first day of the flood.
President Jay Dayal says the following day they started with the distribution of water for cleaning, using 3 - 10,000-litre water trucks.
Dayal says the organisation is still trying to gather more information on flood victims who are in need.
He says they have a lot of volunteers but will welcome anyone who is willing to assist.
