The Reds secured a 27‑22 win over the Lions in their Super Rugby clash in Brisbane yesterday.
The Reds deserve plenty of credit for this victory as they dominated the first half with their performance and although the Lions launched a brave fight back in the second half, they could not pull off the win.
The Reds were leading the Lions 24‑0 at half time.
In other matches played the Crusaders defeated the Brumbies 21-8, the Highlanders edged the Bulls 29-28, the Jaguares defeated the Blues 20-13, the Hurricanes thrashed the Sunwolves 43-15 and the Stormers defeated the Rebels 34-18.
