A 21-year-old man has been charged with three counts of aggravated robbery for his alleged involvement in three separate aggravated robbery cases in the Southern Division.
The first incident was reported on the 17th of last month where the accused with others allegedly robbed a 39-year-old manager at the junction of Princes Road and Wairua when he stopped his vehicle to answer a telephone call. Items stolen included cash and assorted electronic goods.
Two men have already been charged and produced in court.
The second incident occurred on the 21st of last month where the 21-year-old man with others is alleged to have assaulted and robbed a 25-year-old manager at his Tamavua home before robbing him of cash and assorted electronic goods worth more than $5,000.
The third incident occurred in Raiwaqa where the man with three others allegedly robbed a 72-year-old woman of cash and jewellery on the 24th of this month.
Police say that the hunt for the other suspects continues.
