King Shan Manono who has been charged with aggravated robbery has been remanded in custody by the Suva High Court.
The 26-year-old is alleged to have stolen more than $62,944.69 in the company of others, which was the property of Western Union Fexco in Nasinu.
The alleged incident occurred on the 22nd of March this year.
He is also charged with one count each of intent to cause grievous harm, assault causing actual bodily harm, resisting arrest and giving false information to a public servant.
Manono has opted to represent himself in the matter.
The DPP’s office says that Manono’s accomplices are still at large.
The matter has been adjourned to the 21st of this month for plea.
