The Marama na Roko Tui Dreketi, Ro Teimumu Kepa has urged all the Head of Mataqali and the village headman in the Rewa Province to try and get signatures from the villagers so they can proceed with the road project that is pending for the construction of the new Nasali Vutia road.

Ro Teimumu says that in the 2017-2018 National Budget, they were allocated money for the first phase which was $2.7 million.

She says the road will pass through 12 villages from the districts of Rewa and Vutia

Ro Teimumu says it was in the 2006 budget but because of the coup it was not done although some materials had started arriving.

Meanwhile the FRA Central and Eastern Divisional Representative, Jese Morgan says that they have taken the first step in the construction stage which is seeking approval from the land owners.

Morgan says that they have given concert forms to the villages and none of the forms have been received by FRA.
