A heavy rain warning is now in force for Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Eastern and Southern Viti Levu, Southern Lau and Lomaiviti group.
Southern Viti Levu includes Nadali, Bau, Nausori, Verata and Korovou while Western Viti Levu includes Rakiraki, Ba, Lautoka, Nadi and Sigatoka.
The Nadi Weather Office says a heavy rain alert also remains in force for the rest of Fiji.
The current weather situation is caused by a trough of low pressure which remains slow moving over Fiji.
According to the Nadi Weather Office, it is expected to affect parts of Fiji till tommorow night.
Please note that localised heavy rain may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.
