Fiji Football Association CEO Mohammed Yusuf has confirmed that Nadi’s Napolioni Qasevakatini will remain unavailable for the team’s semifinal match against Labasa.

Nadi Soccer Team President Javed Ahmed had earlier confirmed they will be appealing against the yellow card that was shown to Qasevakatini during one of their pool matches against Suva.

Ahmed had said that they had written to the Associations stating reasons for them to re‑look at the video footage of the match.

However, Yusuf says the referees decision will remain and Qasevakatini will remain yellow carded.

He says the Referee Association’s report is very clear and they will stick to the decision.

Yusuf says they will be writing to the Nadi Team’s Officials about their decision soon.

Meanwhile the date of the 2018 Vodafone Fiji Fact final has been confirmed with the venue yet to be decided.

The final will be played on the 10th of this month.

Yusuf says Churchill Park and Ratu Cakobau Park are the two venues that they are looking at however this will be subjected to availability.

Nadi takes on Labasa in the first semifinal at 1pm tomorrow while defending champions Rewa will take on Lautoka in the second semifinal at 3pm.

Both matches will be played at Churchill Park in Lautoka and you can catch the live commentaries of both semi-finals on our sister station Radio Sargam.
