The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team is through to the cup final of the London 7s after a thrashing Ireland 38-12 in the semifinals this morning.
It took only the first minute for Eroni Sau to score Fiji’s first try. Josua Vakurinabili crossed over with the second try while Sau finished the first half with a another try to take their lead to 19-0 at half time.
Coach Gareth Baber made several changes at the break and brought in some fresh legs which saw Josua Tuisova opening Fiji’s account in the second half.
The other two tries was scored by Waisea Nacuqu to take the final score to 38-12 with Ireland scoring two tries.
Fiji will now meet South Africa in the final of the London 7s at 4.57 this morning.
