All Black winger Rieko Ioane has been treated for a cut above his eye after a scuffle with a Blues team‑mate at a party on Saturday night.

In a statement, the Blues say "some high‑jinks between Ioane and another player at the small gathering at a private residence, resulted in the Blues winger receiving a knock above his eye which was treated with medical glue at a local A&E clinic."

Blues CEO Michael Redman said the club will check on the incident this week to determine if there were any breaches of team protocol.

This comes after another All Black Jordie Barrett was found eating McDonalds at the wrong house.

Ioane and Barrett are now in camp with the All Blacks ahead of the first Test against France at Eden Park at 7.35pm on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Wales defeated South Africa 22-20 in their test match in Washington D.C.
