Three men who have been convicted of aggravated burglary and theft have each received a three year suspended sentence by Suva High Court Judge Justice Riyaz Hamza.
Venasio Cawi, Sefanaia Bale and Ututea Toutou had pleaded guilty to entering an apartment in Pacific Harbour and stealing assorted items to the total value of $13,583 between the 9th and 10th of April this year.
Cawi has been sentenced to one year and six months where as Bale and Toutou have been sentenced to one year imprisonment.
While suspending the sentence Justice Hamza took into account that they were young offenders in their 20s and this was their first offence and that they have promised not to re-offend.
Justice Hamza told the three accused to not let him down.
