The 19-year-old student who was allegedly assaulted by a group of students belonging to a prominent boarding school in Tailevu is back home in a stable condition.
Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro has confirmed they have received the medical report of the student.
She has also confirmed that charges are yet to be laid on any of the students that were allegedly involved in the incident.
The incident occurred during the Eastern Division Secondary Schools Rugby Competition after which the student was hospitalized.
Investigations continue.
