Two men charged with a count each of aggravated robbery and damaging property have been remanded by Suva High Court Judge Justice Thushara Rajasinghe.

It is alleged that Avenia Yala-qita and Percy Bucknell assaulted a taxi driver and stole $180 cash from him on the 4th of last month in Levuka.

Both men have sought Legal Aid assistance.

Justice Rajasinghe has transferred the matter to High Court Judge Justice Daniel Goundar.

The case has been adjourned to the 28th of this month for plea.
