Crowd favorite Zynal Rahiman and his horse “Don” have won the Merchant Finance Cross Country Sabeto Horse Race today.
Rahiman walked away with the $300 price money and a trophy.
The Merchant Finance Cross Country Race includes the horse to jump over obstacles.
10 riders participated in this race including a female jockey which is a first time for the Sabeto Races.
Charline Mercer who is from Nadi was riding her horse “Africa” and says the race was a good experience.

Mercer says she has participated in cross country horse races before however she has never participated in a horse race where 10 horses are all going at once.
